Snaps are usually raster photographs, so you want to make them as tiny as practical. The common raster image formats include BMP ( Windows Bitmap ), PCX ( Paintbrush ), JPEG ( Joint Photographics Expert Group ), row ( Tag Interleave Format ), PNG ( conveyable Network Graphic ), GIF ( Graphics Interchange Format ), CPT ( Corel PhotoPAINT ) and PSD ( Adobe PhotoShop ).
When it comes to using pictures on your page, you will want to wrap text around it. Sometimes stills and graphics should add to the overall layout and not take it over or overmaster the feel and look of what is presented to the reader. The content is of first significance with the graphics adding to the readability and understanding of what is being presented.
